Profile |
"The Yuba Sutter Master Chorale
is an ensemble comprised of approximately 45 – 60 singers from
throughout the Yuba, Sutter, Colusa and Sacramento areas. The Chorale is
now in its thirteenth year bringing the finest in choral literature to
the Yuba Sutter Community. The Chorale reflects a cross section of
singers from all walks of life including nurses, teachers, lawyers,
students, government employees, and many other professional groups. The
common thread so essential and inherent within this ensemble is the love
of choral singing and the desire to express through the human voice the
great choral literature from throughout the ages."
"The Chorale presents three
major concerts a year, a fall 'POPS' concert, Christmas concert and
Spring concert. Music performed includes music from the Renaissance
Period through modern times. An important goal of the Master Chorale is
to involve various arts groups from throughout the community which
includes dance, poets, instrumentalists, and members of the Borgamaria
Lyric Opera Company." |
