Experience or other requirements	Auditions are open to anyone college age and up who loves singing and has music reading skills.
Audition procedure	At the audition you will be asked to demonstrate a range of basic musical skills including: • Sight singing • Rhythmic proficiency • Singing a single melodic line • Basic music theory You will also be asked to sing an excerpt from a song you know.
Day(s)/time(s) of rehearsals	Wednesdays, 7:00 - 10:00 p.m.
Place of rehearsals	House of Bread Church, 6521 Hazel Ave., Orangevale
Dates/venues of upcoming performances	The choir will prepare 3 concert programs per year. Each concert program will be performed several times in the course of about 2 weeks.

Profile	"The mission of the Slavic Chorale is to help unify the Slavic community and be a positive influence in our region through the performance of classical and spiritual music. Goals: • Glorify God through music and through service to people in our community. • Perform choral music at a professional level with excellence and artistry. • Preserve and foster Slavic musical culture in Sacramento and serve as ambassadors to other cities and nations. • Develop the musicianship of our members while encouraging personal and spiritual growth. Slavic Chorale will perform with a professional orchestra, as well as singing a cappella and with small ensembles. We will tour to other cities and internationally. We will be presenting new musical works, including those of Slavic composers, as well as singing time-honored masterpieces."
