Experience or other requirements

At least one year singing in a choral group.  Ability to read music.
Audition procedure Please call 916-489-7248 to arrange an audition.
  1. Sing an accompanied song of your choice; any style.  We will provide the accompanist (bring an extra copy of the music).
  2. Sight-read your voice part on a simple church hymn while the accompanist plays all four voice parts.

  3. Auditory/vocal assessment, vocally repeating a series of random notes played twice on the piano.
Day(s)/time(s) of rehearsals Monday evenings 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., September through the first half of May.  A detailed rehearsal and performance schedule will be provided at the audition.
