Profile |
The Amador Choraliers began in 1963 and has been
entertaining the Foothill communities ever since. The group memorizes
all their music and entertains their audiences with occasional props and
choreography. Rehearsals are from mid-January to May for the spring
concert series and early September to December for the Christmas concert
series. Each concert series has three concerts, two in the evening and
one matinee. The concerts appeal to a wide audience as they include many
genres of music, such as blues, jazz, gospel, country, classical, Big
Band era, rock and roll, and folk. They also may include music from
Broadway, the movies and television. Though it is a mixed chorus,
concerts also include the Women’s Chorus, Men’s Chorus, small ensembles,
solos, duets, etc. |
